I work at Toyo University in Tokyo. I have previously worked at other universities and school settings, as well as in language schools and at companies and at language schools. You can see my CV, and my publications and presentations list.
My reason for doing my work is to enable people to communicate successfully in any sphere, be it personal, academic or work, and listening is a way to improve this for a lot of people. I love speech sounds, so I enjoy finding out how people make them, perceive them and learn them.
I have a MA Applied Linguistics and TESOL and a MRes in Humanities & Social Sciences from University of Portsmouth, and the Trinity Diploma in TESOL. My ORCID profile is here:
